Is Counselling Covered by Insurance?
Many extended health plans cover Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC). Confirm with your insurance provider what the yearly claimable limit is and if there is a cap on each individual session.
Once payment has been received by the clinic, you will be provided with an itemized receipt to send to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
The following plans are known to cover some or all of counselling provided by RCCs:

Should you find that RCC visits are not covered under your plan, you may contact your employer, Human Resources Department, or insurance company to request a small change to the coverage.
